Meet the team // Gino Mazzoni

Gino Mazzoni, Esq.

At the intersection of meticulous accounting, excellence in property management, and the law. It's in Gino's DNA.

A lifelong resident of the Bay Area, Gino Mazzoni has long been a tremendous asset in accomplishing the goals of property owners. Our law practice was first introduced to Gino as an intern while studying at the Santa Clara University School of Law, where he obtained his J.D. degree.

Before law school, Gino obtained his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Menlo College, became a licensed real estate agent, and obtained his Broker’s license. He has been licensed for over 11 years, working for brokerages such as Coldwell Banker and Compass. He sold residential and multifamily properties throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, representing a wide range of satisfied clients, from first-time homebuyers to experienced investors.

Gino’s family also owns rental properties, which he helped manage. His upbringing of being knee deep in his family’s rental business, and the sales he closed in his real estate profession, fostered a deep appreciation for property ownership and the unique hardships of small, "mom-and-pop" landlords who are swimming upstream in a complicated regulatory regime.

During his time as a real estate agent, Gino was introduced to landlord-tenant law, which piqued his interest. He was drawn by the complexity of landlording rules and wanted to provide value to current and future property owners by helping them navigate the intricacies.

“Tenant-Landlord law is a natural transition for me. I do not see myself practicing in any other field.” Gino says, when deciding to stay on board with Bornstein Law. He is adept in all aspects of landlord-tenant law and is eager to resolve failed rental relationships as inexpensively and quickly as possible, taking into account time, risk, and attorneys’ fees.

Gino is the perfect addition to Bornstein Law and a staunch ally of housing providers and the professionals who serve them.
