Don’t lose your San Francisco eviction case because of a technicality. Use the Rent Board’s new address in all notices and correspondence.
Whenever a tenant is served a notice to terminate their tenancy, it must be accompanied by an additional notice authored by the Rent Board that provides greater clarity on the notice.
This two-paragraph document admonishes tenants to respond to the termination notices in a timely manner, informs them that the Rent Board can answer questions from tenants facing eviction, and alerts them to resources available.
If the Rent Board’s new address is not listed, housing providers can lose their case for this minor slip up. Do not fret - you can download the updated document with the correct address.
